Puppet Praise Team visits Stonebridge

The Puppets Praise team visited the residents of Stonebridge during Easter break. They did a total of five "old gospel songs" that were enjoyed by all. At one point we put the puppets in the team's hands and let them have fun. There was hand clapping, foot tapping, and smiles all around. That is our goal and our reward. The team now has four puppeteers: Abby Ferguson, Charlie McMurry, Hayes White, and Mackenzie Forbes. The Puppet Praise Team meets Wednesday evenings at 4:00pm in the Bible Village throughout the school year. In February, the group went to Lafayette to the Puppet Workshop. They were amazed with the many things a group can do for a performance. This trip inspired them to listen to a song differently, look for ways to interpret it through the puppet ministry.

Working a puppet is not as easy as it looks, as these kids have found. If you are fifth grade or older and want to join our team this fall, we'd love to have you!
