New Lenten Small Group Study - What the Prayers of Jesus Tell Us About the Heart of God

Join a 5 week journey to explore the prayers of Jesus and other aspects of this most intimate spiritual practice and connection with God - prayer. While we may be most familiar with the Lord's Prayer as the "prayer Jesus taught us to pray," the New Testament gives us other specific examples of the words Jesus prayed. What can we learn about who God is through Jesus' prayers? Paying attention to these prayers and our practices helps us know more deeply God's great love for all people, allows us to marvel at the meaning and magnitude of Jesus' sacrifice, and aids us in our own communication with God.
