Henning Memorial's Day of Caring Makes an Impact!
Henning Memorial's Day of Caring certainly made an impact! Bright and early Saturday, November 15th we met for a brief devotional and prepared to go out from the church to do the work of the church in the world.

We sent a group of youth and adults to Care-Help to sort through clothes and other seasonal items.

Several groups went to some of the home-bound of our community to sing hymns, visit, pray, and leave a gift.

The FaithFinders Kids of Henning Memorial UMC stayed at the church to organize and assemble over one hundred health kits for Sager Brown (the UMCOR Depot in Baldwin, LA.) and paint bird houses for the Methodist Children’s Home boys in Sulphur.

Later that day we continued home visits and another group met at the Methodist Children’s Home to visit, play, eat ice cream, and help hang bird houses with the boys and staff.

Sunday, November 16th, we ended our 24-Hour Day of Caring by making Christmas Cards for Care-Help’s Christmas Dinner bags.

Over all, lots of serving happened, lots of lives were impacted for good and lots of fun was had by all! We can’t wait for next year!
