Explorers (Kindergarten- 5th grade)

Henning Memorial’s Explorers program provides children Kindergarten through 5th grade with opportunities to grow in faith and experience God’s love in a variety of ways. Explorers dig into God’s Word through stories, crafts, music and games. The children learn how to apply the message and then live out the message in their lives through age-appropriate activities and mission and outreach projects.

Sunday School 10:10am - 10:50am

The children join together for 15 minutes of music and then break off into age-appropriate classroom settings for Bible story, crafts and games.  Parents be sure to check out Sunday School classes offered for adults during this time as well!

Explorer Wednesdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm

During the school year Explorers meet at this time to explore scripture and grow as disciples.  There is also plenty of time for fun and fellowship and for music with our Music Director, Travis Stegall.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

VBS is held one week each June and is filled with Christian fun, activities and learning for children (who have completed pre-k through 5th grade).  With their peers, kids experience the word of God through worship, music, games, art projects, and science experiments.
