The Henning Memorial UMC Mustard Seed, located just north of our main building, is the hub of our creative ministries. Donated to the ladies over 100 years ago, this old house is home to pottery groups, sewing ministries, quilting groups, and small groups "circles." The Mustard Seed has been a blessing to many over the years.

The Mustard Seed
Since 1975
Sewing Ministry
Every Tuesday at 9:00am the Mustard Seed sewing ladies meet. They use sewing machines, sergers, quilt machines, and embroidry machines to create pieces that touch the lives of others. They create blankets for premies at the local Neo Natal center. They make items for the nearby homeless Veterans shelter, women's shelter, and nursing homes. The ladies also sell their handmade items. Proceeds are used to replinish supplies to further their mission.
Ta-Dah Quilting Group

Come and learn how to make a quilt with us! The Ta-Dahs are a group of quilters that meet and create comfort quilts for church members that need some extra love. They meet at the Mustard Seed each Monday at noon.
Pottery Group
Every Monday at 9:00am the pottery group meets to make hand-molded items. The Mustard Seed has three pottery kilns.
