Pastor Ellen was raised in Arkansas, received a B.A. from Hendrix College
and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. She has experience on staff of churches large and small in Arkansas, in Texas, and since 1991, in the Shreveport and New Orleans areas of Louisiana. Most recently she has served as District Superintendent in the expansive regions around Monroe and Alexandria, and is excited about now being centered
in a single community in this pastoral role. She relishes learning and sharing stories of discovery and transformation, reading, writing, music, arts, and the great outdoors.
Her grown son Nathaniel Dauphin lives in Shreveport, and her parents and siblings and their families live in central Arkansas.
