Psalms 150 Praise Band
The latest addition to Henning Memorial UMC's Music Ministry is the formation of an Adult Christian Praise Band. This group of talented musicians & singers was originally dubbed the Portie Town Posse, since it developed as an extension of another singing group within the church. The other singing group, which had been performing for several years, had no official name, but was often referred to as the Portie Town Trio, Portie Town Quartet, or Portie Town Duet. The extended group was conceived at a UMM meeting on August 23, 2010. The driving force behind this new venture, Johnny Bergeron, eventually suggested the group be officially known as Psalms 150. Their debut performance was at the First Annual Community Christmas Dinner on December 12, 2010.

PRAISE HIM WITH THE PSALTERY AND HARP
4. PRAISE HIM WITH THE TIMBREL AND DANCE
PRAISE HIM WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS AND ORGANS
5. PRAISE HIM UPON LOUD CYMBALS
PRAISE HIM UPON THE HIGH SOUNDING CYMBALS
6. LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD
