Music...for all ages

Music is ministry...ministry is music...

Here at Henning Memorial United Methodist Church, these two things are interchangeable. We are excited to offer several different opportunities for persons of all ages to participate in the Music Ministry of our church.

Joyful Hearts is how we describe our youngest choir for Pre-school through 1st grade. They meet every Sunday in the choir room.

Joyful Voices is the choir for all children in the 2nd through 7th grade.

Peace by Pieces is a Youth Praise Band which offers opportunities for musicians and vocalist to participate in ministry.

Witness is our Praise Team. They lead praise songs during the 10:30am worship services. Rehearsal is on Sunday evenings at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary.

Chancel Choirs lead in Sunday morning worship. The choir for the 8:00 AM Worship service meets at 7:35am on Sunday mornings. The choir for the 10:30 AM Worship service meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. These choirs are both directed by the Director of Music.

In addition, there are many opportunities for soloists, duets, enembles, and instrumentalists to share their gifts.
