UMYF - Youth
Council meeting next Sunday November 23rd at 3:00 pm in the Youth House.
YOUTH OUT OF SCHOOL ACTIVITY - On Monday
November 24th from 1 to 4 pm, the youth will be at the Youth House hanging out,
playing games, working on decorations for our November service project Night in
Bethlehem. All youth should come and
hang out. If you need a ride please
contact Olivia at 302-9922.
ST. MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS Episcopal Church
will sponsor an evening of music performed by Michael Buckles, violinist and Boriana Buckles, pianist.
The concert will feature a variety of forms and styles of music. St. Michaels is located at 123 West Sale Road
(near Kmart), Lake Charles, Louisiana. The concert is open to the public free of
charge. There is a reception honoring
Michael and Boriana immediately following the concert
in the Parish Hall.
RUTH CIRCLE will meet Thursday, November 20th
at 2pm at the Mustard Seed instead of normally scheduled time.
Succoth or the Festival of
the Booths was celebrated in Jesus’ time to remember when their
ancestors lived in tents and to remind them of the way God cared for them and
to remind them to care for others. Bring
your canned green beans Sunday, November 23rd.
You will place them in the Succoth Booth at Children’s Time at both
services. We will deliver the food to
Care/Help.
